"A Different Way Forward"

Hello There!
My Name is Greg Nakaska, welcome to my page and to my work! If you are interested in my work and would like to know more about who I am, check out my brief bio below.
About Me
Who am I?

If you want to see my credentials you can review them here. However, truth is not dependent on who speaks it but simply by the fact it is either true or not. I am not an authority, just someone who pays close attention to things and thinks too deeply about them. So who am I?

Well, I could talk about myself, but instead I think it is better to share what my friends have said about me (which honestly is probably a better description), below are aggregations of how my closest friends have described me put into the first person:

I am someone who has a great depth of thought, and with it that I bring a unique perspective to the world that makes people think, reflect, and often change the way they see things. The depth of thinking doesn’t neglect compassion or application of that thinking i.e. not just knowledge for knowledge sake but applying it with the intention that it has a positive impact on those around me. My approach is a rare mix of empathy and intellect, wanting the best for people while not ignoring difficult realities. This is backed by my curiosity in both the world and people, researching and learning about a great breadth of topics it can sometimes be unbelievable that one person would spend their time learning about so many seemingly at times random things just for the sake of learning it.

Humour and honesty, I am someone who can usually find the comedic or absurd element in something and speak to it honestly, but with a certain amount of lightheartedness. I have been told I can be uncomfortably blunt or forward at times or that my speaking/writing can be very “authoritative” or “as matter of fact” but don't let that rub you the wrong way, as my stances are more nuanced, check out "my approach for more".

Above is how my closest friends have described me and overall I would describe myself in many of the same ways. A few other things that I believe are worth sharing. I am someone with a curious mind, a great learner in many things but an expert in none.
